DESCRIPTION:The Chamber's next West Herr Driven to Success Series will be presented by Tara Handforth.\n\n\n\nTara Handforth serves as Wells Fargo's Commercial Banking Market Executive for Upstate New York and Eastern Canada\, which includes offices in Buffalo\, New York\; Rochester\, New York\; Montreal\, Canada\; and Toronto\, Canada.\n\n\n\nA 22-year banking veteran\, Handforth previously served as regional vice president of Middle Market Banking in Western New York. She began her banking career in 1997 completing the relationship managing training program at Wells Fargo predecessor\, CoreStates Bank in Philadelphia\, Pennsylvania. She earned a master's degree from Villanova University while working at National City Bank\, where she held various banking roles during her six year tenure\, including in real estate finance and corporate banking. In 2010\, Handforth joined Wells Fargo's Commercial Banking team as a relationship manager in the Suburban Philadelphia market. She relocated to Buffalo in 2016 when named as regional vice president of Wells Fargo Middle Market Banking in Upstate New York. Tara remains based in Buffalo.\n\n \n\nIn her current role\, Handforth leads Wells Fargo's Upstate New York and Eastern Canada Commercial Banking business\, which provides products and services\, including credit and treasury solutions\, to customers with annual sales typically ranging from $5 million to $2 billion. Wells Fargo Commercial Banking was established when the company combined its Business Banking\, Middle Market Banking\, and Government and Institutional Banking businesses together to streamline the way it serves business customers across the country. With its newly formed national Specialized Industries group\, Wells Fargo also provides expertise across industries including Food\, Beverage & Agribusiness\; Investor Real Estate\; Government\; and Technology through its regional presence.\n\n  \n\n A light lunch will be served.
