Come experience the mental and physical health benefits of yoga through movement, breath, and meditation at the sixth annual Yogathon presented by New Era Cap Foundation.
We will raise awareness and funds to benefit mental health programs at Mental Health Advocates of WNY on Saturday, October 17th, 2026.
The class will be from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Atrium at 500 Seneca St, Buffalo, NY.
*We recommend arriving between 9:00 and 10:00 am to get yourself checked in, put your yoga mat down, and have time to check out the vendors before class begins at 10:30 a.m.!
About the Class:
It’s no secret that movement, breath and mindfulness have a positive impact on mental health. These practices are so powerful because of the direct affect they can have on our nervous system.
This 2-hour class led by instructors from Power Yoga Buffalo and Vibe Yoga Lab will be a journey through meditation, energizing movement, restorative movement, and deep rest. The intention is to provide a balanced flow through the natural action and rest cycles of our nervous system.
Proceeds from the Yogathon will benefit Mental Health Advocates (MHA) of WNY. MHA promotes mental health and wellness in our community and supports individuals and families living with mental illness through a variety of non-clinical programs and services. More information about MHA is available online at https://mhawny.org/.
