This NEW pilot program is open to all Amherst Chamber of Commerce members and their guests. Each meeting will feature a different member of the Chamber's Board of Directors. This meeting will feature Amherst Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Colleen DiPirro.
Colleen has been with the Chamber for over 35 years. Under her leadership the Chamber has seen an increase in membership from less than 200 members to over 3,000, representing more than 1,300 businesses. Colleen has been identified as one of the top 100 most influential people in Western New York by Business First several times and was named one of the Top Ten Most Influential Women in 2016. She was the first woman honored as the Executive of the Year by the Buffalo Sales and Marketing Executives in 1998, and received the Governor's Award for Excellence in Business in 1999.
Colleen currently serves as an event and sponsorship coordinator, as well as a member of the Advisory Board for the Buffalo Bills Alumni, and was selected by the late Ralph Wilson, to serve on the Project 21 initiative. She also was appointed by Governor Andrew Cuomo to the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council, a position she has held since it was created. Governor Cuomo also appointed her to the 2016 Roswell Park Cancer Institute Board of Directors.
