Amherst Chamber of Commerce President/CEO A.J. Baynes announces the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of newly-expanded Heathwood Assisted Living at 815 Hopkins Road in Williamsville.
Heathwood recently completed construction on its new three-story addition of 42 assisted living apartments. Together with its original campus, Heathwood now provides more than 100 apartments for those needing assisted living, enhanced assisted living and memory care services.
“Heathwood has a long legacy in Amherst of caring for our senior residents,” says Baynes. “Its growth is vital as our community ages and the demand for these services increases.”
Congressman Brian Higgins, State Senator Michael Ranzenhofer and Amherst Supervisor Brian Kulpa will join Heathwood owners, the Chur Family for the ribbon cutting.
