The Event 10/26/2026

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce's largest event of the year, The Event - Celebrating Business Excellence, recognizes the accomplishments of firms, organizations, and individuals from all corners of Western New York.  This high energy, premier event takes place each October and welcomes around 400 of the region's leading business professionals.  


Tickets include networking, cocktails, and food stations. 

Nominations Open through September 9th.
To give your nominee elevated consideration, we kindly ask that you submit with specific details. Please include an explanation of why your selected company stands apart from others and what makes it eligible and praiseworthy of the category. Highlight unique achievements, innovations, or community impact and it will help the selection committee understand why they should be considered as a top contender. The nomination is the first step, and supporting the nomination is a key factor in the review process.
