NBT Bank has hired Steven Mendelsohn as Home Lending Sales Manager for the Western Region. In this role, he is responsible for leading business development initiatives, guiding strategic priorities, and driving strategic growth of the bank’s residential mortgage and home equity lending in the Buffalo and Rochester markets.
Mendelsohn brings more than 35 years of mortgage banking experience to this role. Prior to joining NBT Bank, he spent nearly two decades with KeyBank where he worked closely with nonprofits to provide solutions for first-time homebuyers. He also spent ten years with HSBC in mortgage roles.
Mendelsohn attended St. John Fisher University and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity Buffalo and Make-A-Wish Western New York.
