Youth Fashion Runway Showcase - 12/13/24

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the creativity and talent of local youth designers! This unique runway event highlights a collaboration between The Foundry and Buffalo Fashion Runway, bringing together the creativity of local youth with a commitment to upcycling and sustainability. Students have spent the semester working to master sewing, upcycling, and redesigning clothing, thanks to partnership with Goodwill of WNY. Using repurposed materials, these young designers have transformed discarded garments into stunning pieces of wearable art. This collaborative runway showcase will feature innovative designs inspired by art, culture, and individuality—all brought to life by budding designers nurtured through our programs. Thanks to the Buffalo AKG Art Mueseum for hosting the event in such a beautiful space!

Event Highlights:

• Pre-Show Fun: Drop-in art-making at the museum from 4:30–6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM - 6:30PM: Seating Begins
• 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: Youth Showcase/Runway Show
