We are currently seeking a talented Paraplanner who is looking for a career- not just a job- to join our team in Williamsville, NY.  This position provides the opportunity to use your skills in analyzing a client’s financial situation and develop a comprehensive financial plan.  This would also entail high level investment research and portfolio design.
Responsibilities:
  • Create client’s Financial Plans –input financial data for recommendations
  • Work with Advisors to complete meeting prep
  • Work with the Financial Planning Department in a collaborative manner
  • Work with clients via phone or appointment
  • Maintain client records & data, while meeting all regulatory requirements
  • Organize & review profile documents (including financial reports)
  • Assist in Investment Research
  • Assist in Portfolio Design
  • Develop Strategies & Solutions that are part of a Comprehensive Financial Portfolio
Requirements:
  • BA or BS degree (Preferred)
  • Series 7 License (Preferred or Studying for Exam – passed SIE Exam)
  • Completion of Foundations of Financial Planning SM and/or Registered Paraplanner® or 2 years of industry experience
  • Experience in financial Planning service industry preferred
  • Excellent written, oral, and digital communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative style
  • Ability to prioritize projects and manage time
  • Ability to enter data efficiently and effectively in multiple planning tools
Work Hours: 8:30 – 5 pm Monday - Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable - Based on Experience & Licenses ($50,000 and up)
Preferred Experience:
  • 2 years of Financial Planning
  • 4 years in Finance Industry
Licenses:
  • Series 7
