Business Development Executive
Please note the posted salary range reflects a $60-65k base pay plus a non-recoverable draw, bonus, and commissions potential.

Our Business Development Executives work to drive the company’s achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals, as well as maintain ongoing business relationships.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Generate new business for ESC by managing all aspects of a sales pipeline: prospecting, initial meeting/discovery, coordination of tech demo(s), proposal preparation and presentation, closing sale.
- Display a consultative approach to generating business by developing an understanding of the unique needs of potential clients and proposing appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
- Develop & maintain long-term business relationships with decision makers within ESC’s ideal client profile, along with centers of influence and referral partners.
- Develop & maintain a strong understanding of all ESC service lines and the industry.
The successful candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of solution-based and/or consultative business development experience, industry experience preferred.
- Consultative approach with the ability to identify client business challenges and present appropriate, customized solutions.
- Polished & persuasive written/verbal communication skills.
- Active listening skills.
- Ability to engage individuals at all organizational levels, from executive leadership to frontline staff.
- Ability to influence and gain buy-in from business decision makers.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Availability to travel within the WNY area.
