AMHERST CHAMBER TEAMS UP WITH SPECTRUM REACH ON REOPENING PSA

AMHERST, NY – Amherst Chamber of Commerce President/CEO A.J. Baynes announces the release of a Public Service Announcement on the reopening of the Western New York region during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The thirty-second video produced by Spectrum Reach features local businesses, including Fresh Catch Poke, Lloyd Taco Factory and Woodhouse Day Spa located on Main Street in Williamsville.

The focus of the PSA is to encourage residents to continue supporting our businesses hit hard by the shutdown in March and show what steps they are taking to make patrons feel comfortable about returning.

“The Chamber thanks Spectrum Reach for working with us on this important community message,” says Baynes. “We want residents to know that as businesses continue to reopen, they are adhering to strict guidelines to keep you safe.”

“The Amherst Chamber has been in the forefront of the business rebound during COVID-19,” says Lou Costello, Director of Sales at Spectrum Reach. “We are proud of this partnership and remain committed to serving our community during this pandemic.”

The video also includes a message from Dr. Michael Mineo, Vice-President and  Chief Medical Officer for Kaleida Health’s Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Dr. Mineo welcomes the business community’s return but reminds residents the importance of continuing proper safety precautions, such as social distancing and wearing masks.

The PSA will air locally across top-tier networks on Spectrum, including CNN, Fox News, Spectrum News and ESPN. It can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/pufU-J6MRdw
