SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED TO YOUNG PROFESSIONALS LOOKING TO BE FUTURE LEADERS

THE SCHOLARSHIPS WILL COVER THE COST OF THE CHAMBER’S EBL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR TWO DESERVING YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

AMHERST, NY – Amherst Chamber of Commerce President/CEO A.J. Baynes announces that two Chamber members are sponsoring scholarships that will allow two young professionals to enroll free of charge in the Amherst Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Business Leaders 2019 Leadership Program.

Bryant and Stratton College and Bonefish Grill have agreed to cover the tuition cost for two individuals to participate in the program, recognizing the value of nurturing our next generation of leaders and promoting programs that assist this demographic in expanding their knowledge base and increasing their network.

“The Chamber is committed to grooming Western New York’s future decision-makers,” says Baynes. “I thank Bryant and Stratton College and Bonefish Grill for understanding the importance of this program for our region’s continued growth and helping us recruit more young men and women to be the leaders of tomorrow.”

The EBL Leadership Program runs for nine months beginning in January 2019.  It includes classroom training on a variety of workplace issues, networking opportunities and mentoring from the EBL Leadership Board.

The EBL Leadership Board, comprised of young professionals representing firms from across the Buffalo Niagara region, will select the two candidates based on their current position, their ability to dedicate the time to the program and their commitment to professional growth.

The application for the EBL Leadership Program and the scholarships can be found on the Amherst Chamber of Commerce website, /emerging-business-leaders
