Dr. Shaojie Tang is a Professor of Management Science and Systems at the School of Management, University at Buffalo (UB). He is the Associate Director of AI + Management Science with UB’s Institute for AI and Data Science (IAD) and the founding director of the Center for AI Business Innovation, where he leads interdisciplinary research initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business strategy. His research focuses on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and combinatorial optimization, with applications in decision-making, operations management, and business analytics. He serves as a Senior Editor for Production and Operations Management.

Coming from the 190:
Take the 198, get off at Grant St. Stay in the right-hand lane.
Turn right onto Grant St.
The Alumni Center is at the 2^nd light, on the corner of Rockwell and Grant.
 
Coming from the 33:
Take the 198 to the Grant St exit; turn left onto Grant St.
The Alumni Center would be at the 3^rd light, on the corner of Grant and Rockwell Rd.
 
Parking:
Park in the lot just opposite the entrance to the Alumni Center (R14 on the map- in the yellow square).
 
To enter, participants should walk toward and along the building; the entrance is indicated by a red triangle on the map.
The presentation will take place on the first floor.
