SBA’s Buffalo District Welcomes Seasoned
Small Business Advocate to the Team
 
 
Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is thrilled to welcome Sara Vescio as the new Outreach & Marketing Specialist.
 
Vescio, was hired to build and maintain a network of collaborative partnerships throughout the region’s economic development ecosystem. With her at the helm, SBA’s collaborative partners and the 14 county service area entrepreneurs can expect an even more robust network of support. Her expertise will amplify the resources available to small businesses, ensuring that entrepreneurs can access the guidance, training, and opportunities they need to thrive.
 
Vescio brings 25 years of experience building and convening networks, most recently as the Director of the Women’s Business Center (WBC) at Canisius University, a SBA Resource Partner.   Under her leadership, the WBC saw tremendous growth in their programs and impact.  The WBC utilized its partnership with the SBA to help support numerous local women entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses, becoming successful drivers of Buffalo’s economy.
