Ribbon Cutting: It's My Birthday

Amherst Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, A.J. Baynes, joins Chamber member It’s My Birthday play place along with the community from 3-6pm on Friday, March 21^st at 3190 Niagara Falls Blvd., Suite 19, Amherst, NY 14228.

It's My Birthday play place is an innovative events venue offering a spacious 3000 sq/ft area for families to celebrate special occasions. The venue features an indoor commercial playground, LED dance floor, hard gym flooring, and a separate banquet area with TVs and seating for up to 80 people. For younger children, there’s a toddler area in the front with seating, allowing parents to relax while their little ones play.

This family-friendly venue is perfect for birthday parties, baby showers, and other events, providing a clean and enjoyable environment for children and adults alike. The venue offers flexible party packages, including self-guided options and all-inclusive packages with exciting add-ons like face painters, costume characters, balloon artists, and a special VIP dance party experience.

The venue was founded by Andrew and Brittany Merolillo, who relocated to Amherst from Las Vegas in early 2022 with their child, Kennedy. Andrew, a former Tesla Energy engineering supervisor, recognized the lack of children’s facilities in Western New York after planning Kennedy’s 6th birthday party. Brittany, a residential property manager and event planner, brought her experience in organizing events to help create the concept. Together, they set out to bring fresh ideas and new experiences from Las Vegas to the area.

In addition to private events, Its My Birthday hosts weekly family-friendly activities such as family trivia on Thursdays from 6pm-8pm, with more events like music bingo and tween meet-ups coming soon. These low-cost events offer parents the chance to unwind while their kids enjoy the venue’s fun amenities.
