NBT Bank Promotes Ashley Desmond to Treasury Management Commercial Sales Manager
 
Buffalo, N.Y. (July 16, 2026) — NBT Bank announced that Ashley Desmond has been promoted to Treasury Management Commercial Sales Manager.
 
In this bank wide role, Desmond leads efforts to deliver client-focused treasury management solutions that help businesses improve cash flow, optimize payment processes and strengthen fraud protection.
 
Desmond joined NBT through its 2025 Evans integration and brings nearly 20 years of banking experience in the Western Region of New York. Throughout her career, she has built a strong foundation across both Retail Banking and Treasury Management, taking on progressively senior roles, including Branch Manager, Senior Client Manager and Treasury Management Team Lead. At Evans, she served as Director of Cash Management, where she led strategy, product development, sales and support functions. Most recently at NBT, she has served as Treasury Management Regional Manager, continuing to demonstrate strong leadership and a client-focused approach.
 
Desmond earned a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College and holds certifications as a Certified Treasury Professional Associate (CTP). She is also a graduate of Leadership Buffalo. Active in her community, Desmond volunteers with Ten Lives Club.
