Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Buffalo to Host On Site
Auditions to Help Grow the Team
Dance Studio is Growing, Needs Additional Instructors
(Buffalo, N.Y.) – Fred Astaire Dance Studios (FADS) in Buffalo is growing and is looking for
experienced dancers to join their team! FADS will be hosting an On Site Audition Event on
Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. when interested dancers may visit
with the owners and demonstrate why they would be the best fit for the job. Registration is
available online.
As with many industries, Fred Astaire is also finding it difficult to locate team members through
typical channels, so they decided to think outside the box, and do what they do best – throw a
party, and invite anyone to come.
“We are growing our customer base and are looking for the right candidates to help us through
this transition of growth, and party with us!” said Serge Nelyubov and Yana Nelyubova,
Co-Owners, FADS Buffalo. “We’re looking for fun, experienced, dancers to become instructors
and bring joy to our students. Many of our students use dance as a way to increase their health
benefits, relieve stress, or make new friends. And it is an honor to be able to do that for them.”
Interested individuals who would like to become one of Fred Astaire Dance Studios’ Instructors
should have a strong proficiency in multiple dance styles, specifically American Ballroom Dance,
with a deep understanding of technique, form, and artistry. A full job description may be found
here. The Buffalo Studio is looking to hire up to five new instructors.
The event in November will require a short registration, for auditioners to fill out a few quick
questions, including why they want to work with Fred Astaire. Every candidate must bring a
resume and headshot with them to the audition. Auditions will be performed on a first come, first
serve basis on the day of the event. Registration is available here. The event will take place in
the Fred Astaire Studio located at 5443 Sheridan Dr, Williamsville, NY 14221.
