Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrates Opening of New 246-Unit Apartment Community 10/1/26

 Amherst Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, A.J. Baynes, joins Chamber member Bliss Construction along with Amherst Town Supervisor Shawn Lavin’s Office, 2635 North Forest Road LLC, and the community for a ribbon cutting and grand opening at 5pm on Wednesday, September 30th at 2635 North Forest Rd., Getzville, NY 14068. The event will bring together community leaders, project partners, friends, and family to celebrate the completion of the complex and honor the memory of a valued former Bliss employee.

The apartment community has been named The Frazier in honor of Norm Frazier, a longtime Bliss Construction employee, who passed away suddenly in June of 2024. The name serves as a lasting tribute to Norm’s dedication to the company, the relationships he built, and the impact he had on those fortunate enough to work alongside him.

“Norm was much more than an employee; he was an important part of our company and our story,” said Paul Bliss. “Naming this community in his honor gives us an opportunity to ensure that his legacy remains a meaningful part of our company and honors him for the many contributions he made to Bliss Construction’s success, along with the impact he had on me and the many Bliss employees and subcontractors he worked with throughout the years.” 

The development represents a significant investment in the community and offers a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences.
